I almost forgot to share what I got my sister for her birthday....I so wanted to keep it when I got it last week. This is done by the super talented Kal Barteski - custom made for my sister to give her some inspiration w/ her favorite color "green".

I had the pleasure in meeting Karen Russell this weekend.....she is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. On Saturday, we created 11 layouts! w/ her "10 reasons" class. We used 8X12 photos and I like it. For Sunday, we spent 9 hours talking about photography - the class just reinforced everything I had learned during the 9 week course - and I know my weak areas and I just need to read, learn, and practice now. And today, we finished with her new interactive class ... she has the neatest ideas of how to use page protectors for multi-photo layouts. Well, now I'm back to reality and back to work tomorrow. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I just finished taking Karen Russell's 8-week photography class ... Snapshots of a Good Life and I'm just tickle that I get to meet her this weekend! So, a group of us from class got together and we compiled our favorite photos and I created the mini-album which I'll give to her this weekend.

Or actually a bit older as my birthday was August 12. We didn't do much as we're fanatics of the Olympics and I've been losing sleep this week b/c we want to watch the LIVE events. I did get a Wii and I'm actually impressed that Jon was able to find one, etc and keep it a secret!!
My resolutions for this year are small....to drink more water and follow-through on personal projects (hobbies & exercise)!
